Structutal Biology and Molecular Biophysics

The Structural Biology and Molecular Biophysics community at the Georgia Institute of Technology spans research from computational methods, X-ray crystallography, NMR, and electron cryo-microscopy over mathematical and biochemical approaches. Groups are based in five different schools/departments in both the College of Science and the College of Engineering: Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biomedical Engineering. Proximity in the north area of campus provides easy opportunities for frequent interactions among the different groups. These are in the form of close contacts and collaborations as well as a weekly seminar with lively discussions.
